Mr. Pushy
Last month I blogged about Mr. Manipulator and this month it's Mr. Pushy! Why do I meet all these people in my private life?!
When I first met Mr. Pushy, I thought we would get along but knowing from past experience, I expected the mask soon to slip and sure enough it did! I could talk to him and he was very chatty back but it soon became apparent he wanted everything on his terms. He liked to dress up when he went out, almost as if he was a different person than he was during the day. When he asked if our meeting was a date, I politely said no. Then he asked for a kiss, to which I declined also.
As I felt like we could be friends, I saw him again. He wanted to know things about me which were too in depth too soon. I said I didn't want to talk about these things. But I'd had enough on the third meeting where he constantly waffled on about nothing in particular.
I've got loads of friends and interests to be bothered with people like this. I just think life is too short to spend it with people who, in the end, do absolutely nothing for you. Rather than just ghost because that's unfair, I explained that I didn't think we were suited. In a nice way, of course.
Before anyone gets worried, I'm perfectly fine. And if I'm not there's always my cane to use!
